In his opening speech Deputy Economic Minister Aleksandyr Manolev said that development of trade between Bulgaria and India had good trens and there was three times increase of commodity turnover for the last ten years. Examples for successful projects in agriculture, pharmaceutical production, movie making, IT, outsourcing, power industry were given.

Mr Kapur said that political relations between the two country are very good but there is unused potential for economic ties development.

A Cooperatin memorandum between BIBA and ECSEPC was signed by the Chairman of BIBA Mr. Krasimir Angelov and the Executive Director of ECSEPC Mr. D.K. Sareen.

Indian business delegation was formed by Indian council for promotion of export of electronics and software. The IT delegation consisted of four companies and was led by Mr. Sareen. The bisiness delegation comprised other five companies mainly from healthcare and agricultural sector.
